Baked Pasta with Eggplant, Tomatoes and Sausage

Ok, so I didn't have Eggplant or tomatoes, but I did have mushrooms and tomato sauce which worked as perfect substitutes for this recipe that I found at Rookie Cookie. I tried it out last night and Thomas and Michael both really liked it. It was delicious, and so easy, so try it!

Also, I used half and half instead of heavy cream which made it a little healthier and still tasted delicious.

Sugar Cookies - A big hit for Valentine's Day.

My new favorite easy recipe:

Cream together
1 c. sugar
1 c. butter (two sticks softened)
add:
1 egg
2 tsp. vanilla
Sift together:
3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt

Add flour mixture slowly to creamed mixture until it forms a ball.
Roll out 1/8th inch thick in Confectioners sugar (instead of flour) and cut into shapes.
Bake at 350 for 7-9 minutes. Should be slightly brown around the edges. Cool and frost.
Yummmmmmmy. Crispy bottom yet delicate taste. I had several friends ask for this recipe after I gave them Valentine's Cookies this week. I frosted them with Cinnamon Oil flavored creamy butter frosting. My X and O's were so cute. I wish I had a pic to show you. Enjoy!

These are so cute!

The next two are from this etsy site.

I

So I don't forget.

So you know I sometimes just post things on here so I won't forget right.
Want to make this. Can't find the balls cheap enough.

Really want to make this stocking - I am going to add the blog where I found it to the side bar because I love it! (Ash she has two patterns in that book I gave you for Christmas called One Yard Wonders).

Made this heart garland for V-day - so cute and easy (ofcourse these are the pictures of the original).

FINALLY finished my dove peace Christmas banner that I have been working on forever (read: sitting on my shelf waiting to be finished because I can never make my mind up about exactly how i want it).
I freezer paper stenciled the letters and then stitched around them.

The olive branch.

Opinion please...

So i got a little obsessed with these bread boxes from target and realized that they fit perfectly on my little counter section of my kitchen. I kind of really really love it but am afraid it is a little too much - what do you think? It makes my junk area so clean!

Mom these are a couple of the files I downloaded that I can cut on my cricut with that new program.

I also just bought this tablecloth from Ikea for valentines. It is a lot cuter without the tacky plastic cover but with my kids.....
