Scherenschnitte

My friend Cindy is a super talented graphic designer - but on the side she has this scherenschnitte (papercutting) blog where every tuesday she posts templates so you can make your own. These are especially cute for christmas. I probably would have made you all one if I found them earlier.

More Homemade Ornaments

I love so many homemade ornament ideas. I don't think I want to buy ornaments for our tree! There is no free tutorial but you can buy the pattern here or just figure it out - it looks pretty simple.

I interupt normal Halloween blogging....

to post some really, really yummy looking christmas cookies that I might want to make at some point and I will forget where the recipes are if I don't post them. And anyway - I don't really have many go-to Christmas recipes like mom has.
