Are you sick of seeing triangle blankets yet? I am getting a little tired of making them. In between these I actually quilted and did the binding for a blanket I had made a long time ago, but I haven't taken a picture of that one yet. This is one that was meant for Ian that my mom and I bought the fabric for years ago... like 4 years ago, and it just never got made. I decided Saturday I really wanted to give it to Ian for his birthday next month, so I have frantically been working on it before I leave for NY tomorrow. When it's done its going to have octagon shaped heads- to make them look like snakes. For now you'll just have to imagine.

Ice cream layer cake

I found this recipe in the July Martha Stewart magazine and made it for a dinner party we had this weekend.

Jelly Roll Quilts
